Textile collage; canvas, paint, batik on paper, silk, cotton thread, copper 15" x 12" x 1" I spent the summer working with textiles I had created and saved over the years; bits of hand-painted fabric, batik on paper, and printed images. They are like jewels to me, and through the process of combining them it feels like I have spent the summer of 2022 playing with a group of my best friends while recognizing the state of our Ōhi à trees.
