I grew up in Alabama with a Grandmother who had a lot of quilts. As children, my sisters and I would run up the hill, lay on a quilt, start rolling down the hill being wrapped up in a wonderful quilt, what fun! How could I not love fabric and soft warm quilts?
A quote by Therese May, “A quilt, a soft document of a life.” touched me many years ago. I think of it every time I make a quilt.
In my quilt gallery you will see quilts I have made over the years. The techniques used range from machine pieced, to hand appliqued traditional Hawaiian, and art quilts which incorporate many techniques. I have designed and made all quilts shown unless otherwise noted.
